At the session of the government commission on import substitution, in the course of an investment forum in Sochi, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev stated that Russian officials who talk about the quality of products on the Russian market must be careful in their statements.
"I looked, our colleagues said that either 70%, or 80% of cheese on our food market is fake. I don't think that this is true. And the fact that such phrases are spoken – I look on social networks, according to other sources – people start to worry, saying things like "where is this import substitution, if 80% of cheese is fake?" RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
According to Medvedev, it is necessary for all officials, if they say such a thing, to either accompany it with references, and such opinions can lead to very serious conclusions, or not say anything at all, if they are not sure about these words.
