Ashgabat will host a meeting of the council of border troops commanders.
It will be held on April 21st of this year, the website of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) reported.
In 2005, official Ashgabat, referring to the status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, recognized and supported by the United Nations, made a decision on its participation in the CIS structure as an associated member, Trend reports.
