Meeting on Syria in Paris will not bring results, Turkish Foreign Ministry reports

A meeting in Paris to resolve the conflict in Syria is unlikely to lead to any tangible results, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said.

‘’The participants of the meeting discuss the issue of performing the requirements of the regime of Bashar Assad and his supporters. Such an approach will not lead to any results,’’ the head of the Turkish diplomacy expressed his opinion.

He also drew attention to the worsening of the situation in Aleppo.

‘’Civilians are killed, the delivery of humanitarian aid has become impossible,’’  Cavusoglu complained.
