Even after the lifting of sanctions, Tehran will rely on internal resources, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanai stated.
"The removal of sanctions is, of course, a great success for Iran, but Iran still doesn't ignore the fact that it is necessary to rely on our own strengths," he said in an interview with the TV channel 'Russia 24'.
According to Sanai, the lifting of sanctions "will provide a new impulse" to relations between Moscow and Tehran. "I am confident that the lifting of the sanctions against Iran is beneficial to Iran-Russia relations," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
