Mehriban Aliyeva: 2015 was a year of achievements and victories for Azerbaijan

''2015 was a year of new achievements and victories for Azerbaijan,'' First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva said today in her speech at the traditional festive event for children organized by the foundation.

This time it took place at the Buta Palace. In addition to the First Lady, the event was attended by vice-president of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.

The festival for children in orphanages, boarding schools, children with disabilities, children from families of martyrs, refugees and internally displaced persons, as well as academically distinguished students is organized in Azerbaijan every year on the threshold of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and New Year at the initiative of Mehriban Aliyeva.
