Azerbaijan is against the Armenian occupation and killing of innocent people, Azerbaijan's First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva said.
"Azerbaijan is against the Armenian occupation and killing of innocent people. Rest in peace, little Zahra and all our martyrs," Mehriban Aliyeva wrote in a post on her official Twitter account on July 6.
Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva dedicated a poem to the resident of the Alkhanli village, who died as a result of the Armenian provocation - a two-year-old Zahra Guliyeva.
The poem 'Memory of Zahra' was published on Leila Aliyeva's official Instagram page.
On July 4, around 20:40, as the result of targeted and deliberate attacking of civilians and civilian objects of the Alkhanli village of Fizuli region of Azerbaijan by armed forces of Armenia with 82 and 120 mm mortars and heavy grenade launchers, Sahiba Guliyeva (born in 1967) and her 2 years old granddaughter Zahra Guliyeva were killed. Another civilian Sarvinaz Guliyeva (born in 1965) was wounded.
