The "Woman of the Year" awarding ceremony of the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Mehriban Aliyeva took place today in Baku. She was awarded on behalf of the Chingiz Mustafayev Foundation and the ANS Group of Companies.
The Vice-President of the ANS Group of Companies Mirshahin Aghayev and ANS president Vahid Mustafayev attended the event and delivered speeches.
It was pointed out that Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the prize for her exceptional contribution to the organization of the high-level First European Games in Baku, active activity for the spread of Azerbaijan's positive image throughout the world, the work to promote the national culture, as well as her role in the formation of an atmosphere of multiculturalism in the country and large-scale charitable activities.
