The First Lady of Azerbaijan, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, has expressed her deep gratitude to Hungary for awarding her the Commander Cross of the Order of Merit of the Hungarian Republic. It is known that Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban personally presented the award to Mehriban Aliyeva during his visit to Baku.
‘‘The award means a high appreciation of this cooperation to me. I hope the Prime Minister and the President will support the continuation of this cooperation. I am particularly honored to be awarded personally by you,’’ the First Lady said.
The Azerbaijani First Lady added that she was happy that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes to the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary.
Recall that the fund implements different projects in the field of education, healthcare projects and in the social sphere. Mehriban Aliyeva expressed confidence that projects in the humanitarian sphere will allow people to understand each other much better, Trend reports.
