The representative of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the region, Vladimir Rogov, announced the issuance of the first Russian passports in the Zaporozhye region.
"The first Russian passports have already been issued in the Zaporozhye region. For us, this is a significant and historic event," RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
He noted that the issuance of documents took place in Melitopol.
