According to the Interior Ministry, Georgian law enforcement officials have detained Akaki Kartoziaon, a secretariat specialist of a deputy of the Tbilisi Sakrebulo, on suspicion of corruption.
The official offered a Turkish citizen his assistance in receiving Georgian citizenship for 6 thousand dollars. Kartozia was arrested when he was receiving half of the sum.
