Merkel, Cameron and Hollande discuss a settlement in Syria

On the sidelines of the EU summit in Brussels today, a meeting of French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister David Cameron was held, at which the parties discussed the situation in Syria and the development of a common position on a possible settlement of the conflict.

A source among French diplomats, speaking about the meeting of representatives of G20, stated that the idea is to reach a common position by also focusing on the negotiations with other partners, RIA Novosti reported.
