German Chancellor Angela Merkel will hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul on May 23, the official German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said.
Merkel will take part in the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul on 23 May.
Chancellor will be accompanied by the Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, Gerd Muller, TASS reports.
