Mikhail Shvydkoy in Yerevan looking for ways to solve Karabakh conflict

The settlement of the Karabakh conflict mostly depends on the intellectuals of the conflicting parties, the special representative of the President of Russia for International Cultural Cooperation, Mikhail Shvydkoy, said in Armenia.

He is convinced that a lot depends on the intellectuals no matter how hard and painful the settlement process is.

"All wars end in peace. I wouldn't like such a situation in the South Caucasus to last for decades or centuries. No ideas are worth the blood of Armenian or Azerbaijani children. I have come to Yerevan to speak of how much prepared for dialogue the Armenian side is. Later I will leave for Azerbaijan with the same mission," Arminfo cited Shvydkoy as saying.
