I have not come to Ukraine for revenge or destruction, I came here to build, - the former president of Odessa district, Mikheil Saakashvili, told journalists at the Kiev airport, InterPressNews reports.
According to him, he arrived in Kiev to build new Ukraine.
He said his arrival in Ukraine was very emotional as he had spent 12 years of his life in that country. The former governor of Odessa thanked Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for restoring Ukrainian citizenship and called him a strong and independent politician.
According to Saakashvili, he will do his best to bring new politicians to Ukraine's politics.
