A warehouse on the territory of the Kazakh city of Arys in Turkestan region was hit by the blast, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The telephone call about explosion was received at 9:20 am, AKIpress reported.
Thirty personnel and 8 fire-fighting equipment units are working at the site. No injuries were reported yet.
