The accident at the offshore Guneshli platform hasn't had a significant negative impact on the local ecosystem. The corresponding information was represented in the annual report of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan.
The document informs that environmental monitoring continues to be carried out at the scene of the accident.
"4775 thousand samples were taken and 52,685 thousand analytical, microbiological and ecotoxicological studies were carried out. According to the results of the research, no essential negative impact was identified,'' Trend reports.
