Kiev acknowledges a $3 billion debt to Russia along with other Eurobonds, but would like to restructure, Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalia Yaresko said today.
"We recognize the debt of $3 billion, like any other European bonds. I do not hide our intention to restructure this debt. I'm doing everything I can. And I want us to have this bond considered like any other European bond. The government has stated its position, we have plenty of programs, and we need to reach the goal of debt restructuring," Yaresko said during a speech at the Swedish-Ukrainian Business Forum, RIA Novosti reports.
