A senior prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Vakhtang Kiriya, was found dead at Kavtaradze Street, the Deputy Prosecutor General Giorgi Gabitashvili said.
The head of the Georgian Interior Ministry Giorgi Mgebrishvili and Prosecutor General Irakli Shotadze also visited the scene.
As Vestnik Kavkaza reported, he left home a few days ago, after which there was no news from him till yesterday evening.
