Mogherini: It is necessary to reconsider the idea of Turkey on safe areas in Syria

After the meeting of the EU Council for Foreign Affairs the head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini said that the idea of Turkey to establish a safe zone in Syria requires a review due to Russia's actions, as well as the presence of the terrorist organization Islamic State in the region. 

"As for safe areas, this is what we discussed with Turkish friends, our American partners and Ministers today,’’ RIA Novosti cites her as saying.
