The agreement between the P5+1 and Iran can restore the trust of its neighbors and help resolve regional crises, especially in Syria and Yemen, European Union’s foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, said.
"The region's security, the security of neighbors, the inability of Iran to obtain nuclear weapons is an issue of security of the region and the world," she said.
According to Mogherini, the agreement demonstrates the effectiveness of multilateral diplomacy.
"But it's also an opportunity to restore trust between Iran and its neighbors, Iran and the international community. This agreement is not based on trust, but it can lead to trust," RIA Novosti cited the head of European diplomacy.
