Moldova's Consul General in Istanbul Veaceslav Filip has been detained on suspicion of bribery in the airport of Chisinau, the Deschide news outlet reports.
The National Anticorruption Center and the Security and Intelligence Service raided Filip's residence immediately following the arrest late Wednesday, Sputnik cited the interim attorney general Eduard Harunjen as saying.
