The monument erected in memory of the Armenian and Russian border guards, who served on the Armenian borders, was desecrated in Yerevan.
The flag of Russia at the monument in the Victory Park was torn and the coat of arms was broken. The identity of the perpetrators is still unknown and no one is responsible for what happened.
The Yerevan mayor's office said that they are not responsible for what happened and that the information should be clarified with the owners of the territory, Sputnik Armenia reported.
According to "Iravunk" newspaper, this is not the first case of insult of the monument.
