Over 10 thousand people were evacuated following anonymous bomb threat calls in Russia's Dagestan, an informed source said.
Authorities in Dagestan said today that they evacuated hundreds of students and teachers from four secondary schools and two universities in the regional capital, Makhachkala, after receiving a phoned-in bomb threat.
"According to preliminary data, in total, more than 10 thousand people were evacuated in Dagestan," Interfax cited the source as saying.
Bombs have not been discovered in any of the cases.
