Iraqi authorities have terminated contracts of more than 100 thousand soldiers, who left their positions during clashes with Daesh terrorists group (banned in Russia).
"Contracts of 106 thousand Iraqi soldiers, who left their positions during attacks of Daesh militants, have been terminated by the Defense Ministry," Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al-Obaidi said.
He noted that it mainly affected those soldiers, who were in the ranks of Iraqi army in the first months of 2014.
