More trains to link Crimea with mainland

22 trains will link Crimea with Russia’s mainland this summer. In total, 3 mln people will be able to visit the region during the season.

3 mln people will be able to visit Crimea during the 2023 summer season, the head of the Ministry of Transport, Vitaly Savelyev said.

According to him, summer season kicks off on May 1 and lasts till September 30. Additional trains will be launched to Crimea for this period. In total, 22 trains will link the regions with Russia’s mainland.

The government has allocated 2 bln rubles to support the Crimean tourism industry amid a lack of vacationers.
