A four-sided military information center for the fight against the terrorist group Islamic State was created today by Russia, Syria, Iran and Iraq. According to sources, representatives of the General Staffs of the four armies were included in it.
The centre will be located in Baghdad, its duties include the collection, processing and analysis of information on the whereabouts of IS militants and their future plans, as well as operative transmission of collected data to armies.
Officers of each country will lead the center for three months on a rotating basis, RIA Novosti reported.
