The Azerbaijani State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater will stage opera 'The Barber of Seville' by Gioachino Rossini on March 9.
The theater management has invited the soloist of the Hamburg State Opera and the Moscow New Opera Theater Alexey Bogdanchikov to perform the role of Figaro.
The leading soloists of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre, People's artists of Azerbaijan Fidan Hajiyeva, Ali Asgarov, Akram Poladov, honored artists Farid Aliyev, Tural Agasiyev, as well as soloists Nina Makarova, Firus Mammadov will also perform in the opera, Trend reported.
The opera will be conducted by Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Eyyub Guliyev.
