Moscow and Ankara to sign an agreement on Turkish Stream no earlier than December

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak stated that the signing of an intergovernmental agreement on the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project will be held no earlier than December 2015 - January 2016.

According to him, the Turkish government has not been formed yet, so the signing of an intergovernmental agreement on the Turkish Stream will take place after the elections.

Novak also stressed that work on the text of the agreement continues at the level of experts and technical specialists. "Next week, a meeting of experts will be held. But this does not mean that we will finally agree. We will finally agree when the new government of Turkey will form the position and the text. Now we should just prepare a text that would be as close as possible," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
