Moscow and Paris prepared a draft agreement on Mistral-class helicopter carriers, according to a military source.
"The governments of both countries need to sign the project document that expert delegations from Russia and France agreed on, it’s ready to be signed," RIA Novosti cited the source as saying.
Earlier, French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said that the failure to fulfill the contract with Russia is costing the French economy $1.2 billion.
