Moscow and Tehran coordinate requirements for supplies of meat

Russia and Iran will sign a protocol on sanitary requirements for cattle meat. As Rosselkhoznadzor reported today, it could happen as early as next week.

"It is planned that the final approval and signing of the protocol on sanitary requirements for the import of cattle meat will take place at the first meeting of the working group on veterinary and phytosanitary issues, which will be held from February 29th to March 1st 2016 in Tehran," Rosselkhoznadzor reported.

"If the signing will happen, Russian manufacturers of beef will be able to start exporting cattle meat to Iran from all enterprises that meet the requirements of the signed protocol and veterinary certificate, agreed earlier," RIA Novosti cites the report.
