A telephone conversation between the Russian President's special representative for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, and the representative of the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan was held.
As a result of conversation, the parties agreed to continue the series of mutual visits for a close dialogue.
"The parties continued to discuss the Syrian problem. They agreed to continue close contacts. In the near future, Bogdanov will visit Tehran to continue the dialogue," TASS quotes an Iranian diplomatic source as saying.
