Prime Minister of Abkhazia Alexander Ankvab being infected with Covid-19 flew to Moscow on a special flight, the press service of the republic's Cabinet of Ministers informed today.
He will undergo treatment in the capital hospital of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia. The relevant decision was made yesterday by a council of doctors, recommending that Ankvab be put to a specialized Russian clinic in order to avoid complications, RIA Novosti reports.
The Abkhazian prime minister endured the flight normally, his condition is stable, the press service informs.
