Moscow extends ban on Ukrainian-Kazakh and Ukrainian-Kyrgyz transit

A presidential decree on the extension of the ban on the transit of Ukrainian goods to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan for six months has been published on the official legal information portal today.

The decree banning the Ukrainian-Kazakh and Ukrainian-Kyrgyz transit came into force on January 1, 2016 and was supposed to last until tomorrow, January 1, 2019.

The document does not specify the reasons for the extension of the forbidden regime, which, recall, applies to the road and rail transportation from Ukraine at the non-zero duties and sanctioned goods.
