Yesterday the Central Concert Hall 'Rossiya' hosted the fifth Moscow Festival of Culture of the Peoples of the Caucasus, which was attended by cultural, scientific, sporting, social and political figures of the Caucasus. In particular, it was attended by the heads of the North Caucasian republics, the ambassadors of the countries of Transcaucasia, as well as guests of various nationalities and religions.
In addition to a large concert with performances by popular singers and dancers of the Russian Caucasus and the republics of the South Caucasus, the festival guests were offered an exhibition of national costumes, household items and art, weapons of the peoples of Caucasus, where people were also able to purchase Caucasian souvenirs.
The fifth Moscow Festival of Culture of the Peoples of the Caucasus was organized by the Russian Congress of the Peoples of the Caucasus with the support of the Moscow government.
Its goal, first and foremost, is to tell about the sights of the Caucasus and show its tourism potential. That is why everything possible was done at the event, so that every visitor could feel the atmosphere of the real Caucasus, learn about the true traditions of its peoples, and determine his own route for a future trip to the region.
