Yerevan is going to legalize many illegally constructed buildings and structures. This statement was made by the city mayor on July 8.
Speaking at a conference call, Tigran Avinyan drew attention to the fact that illegal buildings in the capital of Armenia have been erected, circumventing the law for decades.
According to the mayor, the mayor's office is now engaged in a large-scale study and is dealing with the problem of their legalization. It concerns buildings registered before 2021.
At the same time, he emphasized that not all structures of this type would be legalized.
"This means that the volume of legalization will be quite large during this period. I would also like to emphasize that there is no need for mediation in this process",
