An elderly woman and her son have died as a result of a brutal murder in Armenia’s Tavush Province, the press service of the Armenian police said.
An anonymous caller informed the police on Monday at 10։50am that a mother and son were killed in a house in Berd.
The police said that their throats were cut with a sharp cutting-tool, News.am reported.
According to preliminary information, the woman was 87 years old, and her son - 57 years old.
A forensic medical examination has been commissioned. An investigation is underway.
