Mudslide kills 7 in Tajikistan

Seven people died as a result of natural disasters on the night of July 21.

According to the administration of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region in eastern Tajikistan, six people died in Vadzh and more than 50 houses were destroyed.

As a result of the natural disasters, the amount of damage caused to the economy of the country reached to $50 million. The government has appealed to the international community for assistance.
