Today, construction of the republican multi-disciplinary medical center, one of the most modern in Russia, began in the Simferopol village of Agrarnoye.
The ceremony of laying a memorial stone at the construction site was attended by the head of the republic Sergey Aksenov and the speaker of the regional parliament Vladimir Konstantinov.
"This will be one of the most modern hospitals in the Russian Federation, which will allow solving all the problems on the spot, rather than transporting patients to the mainland, as it is happening now," TASS quotes Aksyonov as saying.
