A multimodal transit terminal has opened in Georgia’s Black Sea Batumi port today, the Georgian Ministry of Economy reported.
The new logistics facility, located on two hectares of land, was set up by the joint efforts of Batumi International Container Terminal and Medlog Georgia.
Georgian Economy Minister Giorgi Kobulia, who participated in the opening ceremony of the multimodal transit terminal, said that this is another “wonderful” project, which will contribute to the development Georgia’s transit potential, Agenda.ge reported.
Kobulia said that this project will help Georgian exporter companies have better access to international markets.
