Murder of Georgian nationals in Turkey solved

The case of murder of Georgian nationals in Turkey has been solved,- says the statement of the prosecutor's office of Georgian.

Citizens of Marneuli - Elnur Antesov, Vugar Guliev and Azade Omarova – were detained on July 9. 

The prosecutor's office launched an investigation at the request of murdered Georgian citizens. The investigation revealed that Elnaz Sharifova, Emma Sharifova and her grandson Sakhib Gasanov went to work in Turkey. They were financially assisting their family members living in Marneuli. In addition, it should be noted that they had some financial savings which they kept in their house in Duzje. On January 6, 2016, they were visited by Azade Omarova from Marneuli. On January 26, 2016, Elnur Antesov also went to Turkey. They, together with their friend Vugar Guliev committed a brutal murder of the Georgian citizens and took away their computer, cell phones and other belongings. 

Investigation continues into the case. The crime is punished by 16-20 years of imprisonment.
