Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has ordered to approve the plan of activities in connection with the announcement of 2016 as the Year of Multiculturalism.
According to the decree, the authority on coordination of the implementation of the plan has become the Baku Center of International Multiculturalism, and the Cabinet of Ministers will ensure the financing of activities under the plan, abc.az reports.
Among the activities, in particular, is the opening of the Museum of Multiculturalism and studying the establishment of a ‘Multiculturalism Medal’.
