The authorized representative of President of Ukraine for the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Cemilev, has said at the 2nd World Congress of Crimean Tatars in Ankara that Ukraine is to create a Muslim battalion.
"It was decided to create a Muslim battalion, which is to be subordinated to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It will be mainly deployed near the border with Crimea, in the Kherson region," Cemilev said.
