Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko said today that the new FIFA president Gianni Infantino is to pay a visit to Moscow on April 20th.
The head of the Ministry of Sports also noted that after his election Infantino expressed confidence that Russia and FIFA will organize the best World Cup in history.
According to Mutko, the World Cup in Russia will return confidence in FIFA. "We believe that the 2018 World Cup is a special project that unites billions of people. It is an engine of Russia's development. We will involve the entire European part of the country in the development. There are some problems in FIFA and the World Cup in 2018 will help Russia to restore confidence in this organization," Tass cites Mutko as saying.
