The preparation and organization of the 2018 World Cup in Russia will involve 80% of the population, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the organizing committee of "Russia-2018", the head of the Russian Football Union Vitaly Mutko stated.
According to him, Russia has proposed a special concept of the FIFA World Cup to the world.
"It is very convenient. We decided to create bases for residing of teams in 20 cities. Each team will select one of two bases, there are 64 bases in total. Bases are located up to Yekaterinburg," - TASS quoted the Minister of Sports.
