The head of the Ministry of Sports of Russia, Vitaly Mutko, announced the dissolution of the Russian national football team, due to the recent petition calling for it, which gathered more than 900 thousand signatures.
The department explained the words of the minister: the team was automatically disbanded after the completion of the European Football Championship.
Thus, there is neither football team, nor its coach the Ministry of Sports stressed.
