Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko participated in the 'Moscow Cross the Nation Festival', which was held in the framework of the All-Russian Run Day 'Cross the Nation 2015'. He ran a 'VIP distance', the length of which is 600 meters.
The First Deputy of the Department of Physical Culture and Sport of Moscow, Olympic champion Nikolai Gulyaev, also participated with him in the run.
According to the Minister, 'Cross the Nation' is a very important sporting event, in which more and more Russians participate every year. "Here, everyone can choose a distance in accordance with their physical abilities. I also will go out to start today, I will choose a short distance," TASS quoted Mutko as saying.
