NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai said that the alliance expects that a meeting of the new Russia-NATO Council will be held in the near future.
According to him, sides will be able to discuss pressing issues, including the possibility of direct contacts between NATO and Russia's army.
