NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg had a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. This was reported in the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
During the conversation, the parties discussed issues related to the North Atlantic Alliance's enlargement, Anadolu agency reports.
Let us remind you that Sweden and Finland submitted applications to join the North Atlantic alliance on May 18. Turkey blocked the start of these applications' consideration, noting that Stockholm and Helsinki do not have a clear and unambiguous position on terrorist organizations.
