NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is due to visit the United States in April for the meeting of NATO ministers of foreign affairs to mark the 70th anniversary of the bloc, the military alliance said on Thursday, adding that the bloc's chief is also due to meet US President Donald Trump, Urdu Point reported.
"The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg will travel to the United States, Washington DC, on 2-4 April 2019. The Secretary General will chair the meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs (3-4 April 2019), celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Alliance, and will have a series of engagements ahead of the ministerial meeting," the statement from NATO said.
