NATO chief considers Putin-Trump conversation 'good sign'

NATO believes that the phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump is "a good sign," NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said.

The NATO chief urged to be thankful for the fact that Americans are now taking this position.

"I think it’s a good sign that this phone call took place last night. It is good and positive that the U.S. president immediately followed up this phone call with the Ukrainian president and European leaders," Mark Rutte said.
